Findex does not store any account or banking credentials which means that our access is limited to "read-only". Your credentials are stored and handled by trusted third-parties that aggregate financial accounts according to EU regulations - European Payment Service Directive (PSD2).

Your personal data is safe with Findex!

Your security, privacy and integrity is central in our product development process. From how we design, how we develop our code and APIs, to how our internal organization is set up. Without your trust, we lose what makes findex valuable.

Not our internal staff nor any outsiders can see your personally identifiable information. If there’s any specific support task that is necessary then selected engineers will have limited access based on your request and approval of our compliance team, all internal access is logged.

All your data in findex is encrypted at rest on Amazon servers. Even if someone hacks in to Amazon and gets hold of a backup of the database it would be useless, because they wouldn’t have the key to decrypt it.

Findex uses regulated third party financial account aggregator services to connect your bank and brokerage accounts. Your credentials are directly sent to the respective service from your browser and findex will not see nor have access to your credentials. As we have read-only access through their APIs, we cannot make any transactions on your behalf - ever!

We do not sell your data and our business model is privacy-friendly. Even if we wanted to sell your data (which we do not), our business model does not support it. We want to continue building a great community on the platform which offers quality deal-flow and transactions through the platform. Even in cases where we utilize third-party providers, we make sure that these providers do not store nor sell your data.

Since we do not sell your data, that also means we do not use user-targeted ads as it's a slippery slope once a company start monetizing data. We want to make sure we continue to provide a high quality service without needing to push advertisement that disturb the user experience and the integrity of our platform.

We are GDPR compliant with a privacy policy that is strictly followed. If you for some reason come to the conclusion that you no longer want to use findex (even if we hope you stay with us for the long run), you have the right to be forgotten. This means that you can completely delete your account and historical data related to it by sending us a request.

Findex is a digital portfolio management platform that enables you to get a complete overview of all your assets regardless of asset class.

It works by leveraging open banking to automatically track all your listed equities in addition to getting the correct information on startups and alternative assets such as real estate, crypto, collectibles etc.

The commercial idea for findex is to enable investors and other parties to connect. In other words, we make money by enabling different opportunities for our users and their capital. We do not sell your data.

How do I get started with findex?

Start by signing up for early access and if you are selected, you will receive an email with instructions for logging in to your account.

Once we have our official release, everyone will be able to sign up organically and get started seamlessly!

Is my data secure with findex?

Your data is always secure with findex, we utilize secure third-party providers such as Auth0 and AWS. All your data is encrypted. You can read more on our security page.
